Stop posting. Start scaling.

Hey there — here’s your weekly dose: what I’m testing in content, learning in business, shifting in mindset, and passing on to my kids.

Tiny (Content) Experiments

We host a monthly workshop where we cover our systems for organic content, how to position yourself as an authority, and everything needed to post consistently for years.

Most attendees say the same thing: “I don’t know what to post, when to post, and how to post consistently”

One person took immediate action on what we said, and went viral on LinkedIn (crazy how that works).

Now I can’t promise you will go viral if you attend our next workshop on September 22-26, but I can promise you that you’ll get massive value from it.

Founder’s Lens

“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s there are few.”

Shunryu Suzuki

One of the fastest ways founders stall is by convincing themselves they’ve “figured it out.” Expertise can become a trap. You stop asking questions. You default to old playbooks. You miss opportunities because they don’t fit your mental model.

The founders who keep winning aren’t always the smartest in the room — they’re the most curious. They treat every market shift, client conversation, or competitor move as data, not a threat. They hold onto a beginner’s mindset even while building with expert execution.

The paradox of leadership is this: the bigger your business grows, the more important it becomes to stay a student.

Reframe of the Week

Thought: Growth requires working harder.
Reframe: Growth requires working on the right things.

Hard work is table stakes. Every founder grinds. But if all the effort isn’t directed toward the levers that actually move the business forward, it becomes motion instead of progress.

When I reframe growth around leverage—where one action multiplies into ten outcomes—the whole game shifts. Suddenly, growth isn’t about hours logged, it’s about systems, focus, and force multipliers.

That’s the difference between hustling for survival and building for scale.

Notes to my kids

Keep building,
Clifton
