What X’s Latest Move Means for Founders
Plus, my friends at uhoh are doing something special for my audience

I Am Legitimately Giving You $1,000 Cash…
Hey, Clifton here. I know what it sounds like, but don’t roll your eyes… This is the real deal. My friends at uhoh.com are doing something special for my audience.
uhoh.com is an IT help desk that I've been using for almost a year. I'll be honest, I didn't know I needed help with the IT/Tech side of our business. After bringing on uhoh, I realized I was very wrong.
In the first month, we built out systems and processes with them that will give us the capacity to scale well past where we were targeting for. The bonus is, any time we have a problem and hit a wall, they just fix it. It really is like having a full IT team on standby. 10/10 huge fan of them.
They just opened 20 spots for founders in my audience and will PAY you $1,000 to try it. The best part is they literally let you pay whatever you think it's worth if you want to continue with them... who does that?
Here’s the criteria (and yes, there is one):
You have to be a founder
You need at least 3 employees
You have to run an internet business that communicates online using slack or something similar.
You have to actually give them work during your free trial. If you ghost them at all during your onboarding or during the trial, they may ban you for life (not joking).
If you qualify, you get:
A 30-day free trial
Full access, not a watered-down demo
And at the end of the 30 days, if you didn't ghost them, they literally give you $1,000 cash just for trying it
It’s worth your time, folks.

When Everything Feels Heavy, Clarity Wins
We’re having our offsite this week with the Legacy Builder team, taking a few days to zoom out, reset, and get focused.
And there’s one goal driving the entire thing:
Clarity.
The main thing we’re all trying to come away with is a sharper understanding of what matters most… and what doesn’t.
Because the truth is, most founders aren’t falling behind…
They’re just buried under too many ideas, too many priorities, and too much noise.
You don’t need to do more. You need to go deeper on what’s working.
That starts by stripping things back:
What’s your lane?
What’s your core message?
Who’s your ideal buyer, and are you speaking to them?
Once you’re clear on those things, everything else gets lighter:
→ Content gets easier
→ Messaging gets tighter
→ Strategy gets simpler
→ Results get better
So if you’re feeling behind right now, you’re not.
You just might be unfocused.
And clarity is what brings the momentum back.

“What I’m Doubling Down On”
Prompt:
What’s one thing you’ve decided to go all in on, whether it’s a strategy, offer, platform, or habit?
This type of post does more than share a business update.
It shows direction. Momentum. Commitment.
And when you say it out loud, especially online, it creates a layer of accountability that often accelerates follow-through.
Try this:
Post a short statement that starts with:
“We’ve decided to double down on…”
Then explain why.
Why it works:
Founders who share what they’re focused on (and what they’re walking away from) stand out. It signals clarity, and invites others to follow the journey.
Let your audience in on the bet you’re making. It builds trust and shows leadership.

How to Get Out of the Rut (And Back Into Rhythm)
It’s that weird part of January.
The early momentum has faded.
Resolutions are starting to slip.
And for a lot of founders, the wheels are spinning, but traction feels off.
We hear it every year, right around this week:
“I just can’t seem to get back into rhythm.”
“I know what I should be doing, but I’m not doing it.”
Here’s the truth: you’re not behind, you’re just in a rut.
And ruts aren’t broken by big reinventions.
They’re broken by small momentum resets.
Here are a few things we recommend (and use ourselves):
Shrink the scope: Don’t overhaul the strategy. Just post one thing. Ship one asset. Hit publish once.
Stack wins: Do 3 things you know you can complete in the next 2 hours. Progress builds energy.
Talk it out: Book a call with someone who gets it — a peer, client, or mentor. Fresh conversation breaks stale thinking.
Revisit the “why:” Look at the big picture again. Most ruts come from a disconnect, not laziness.
If this is you right now, no shame.
Just don’t stay there.
Ruts are a sign it’s time to reset the rhythm, not the goal.
And clarity comes fastest when you start moving again.

Latest Social Media Trend: A Push Towards X Articles
There’s a new battleground emerging in the content space: long-form writing.
Over the past week, X (formerly Twitter) has started quietly rolling out its new Articles feature, giving select users the ability to publish long-form, blog-style content directly on the platform.
Here’s what’s happening behind the scenes:
Substack launched its own Feed a little while back, a timeline-style home for short posts
X didn’t love that
In response, they’re accelerating their long-form push with Articles and better revenue share for writers
If this feature rolls out widely, and early adoption gains traction, we may start seeing more personal brands, thought leaders, and even newsletters migrating from Substack to X-native formats and relying heavily on the X Articles feature.
It’s too early to call a winner.
But if you’re building a content engine in 2026, keep an eye on what X is quietly setting up.
The platform is evolving again and this time, it’s thinking like a publisher.
Keep building,
