Ever wonder what separates brands that stick from those that fade into the background? 🤔 From my experience building my personal brand over the past 3 years…it all comes down to consistency.

Think about it… most brands have:

  • Brand Guidelines

  • Mission Statement

  • Logo, Font, Colors, etc.

But none of that matters if you are consistent with how you use them and apply them to your business. If you write down a mission statement but then never look at it again for the next year… what good does that do?

If you’re a business owner, consistency with your branding is everything. Think of the top brands you know and love—they show up the same way, day after day, whether it’s on your social feed, in your inbox, or through their website.

How to Keep Your Branding Consistent

  1. Create a Brand Style Guide: Every person on your team should have this and study it. Define your brand’s colors, fonts, voice, and imagery—and stick to it everywhere. This becomes your brand’s DNA. 📑

  2. Set a Content Schedule: Consistent posting is key and what’s led to our success at Legacy Builder. Whether it’s a weekly email, daily social posts, or monthly videos, make sure you’re sticking to a schedule your audience can count on. 📆 

  3. Create Content Pillars / Consistent Messaging: Who are you? What do you do? And who are you for? Always go back to these three questions.
