I first started my Twitter account over 2 years ago…

Since then, I quit my 9-5 job and built a business that generates over $60k per month in revenue.

It’s incredible to see the kind of results we’ve been able to provide for our clients on both Twitter and LinkedIn.

And because of their success, our business has grown tremendously over the past 6 months.

We’re taking on new clients at an exceedingly fast pace, and to keep up we’re going to need to be strategic in how we scale our business in 2024 to maintain the kind of quality our clients expect and deserve.

After taking the time to think through everything and come up with a plan, I want to share how I plan to 3x my business and go from 30 to over 100+ clients this year…

Let’s get into it:

The Plan for X (Formerly Twitter)

As I’m writing this, my X profile sits at over 345,000 followers.

Considering just two years ago I started with 0… I’ve come a long way.

My focus for 2024 is less about growth and more about honing in on my content and outreach strategy.

I will be writing more long-form content and threads to increase the depth of my content and continue to do outreach to people who consistently engage and interact with my content, which is where a large number of our existing clients have come from.

The plan is to keep it simple and stick with what’s been working well.

The Plan for LinkedIn

After starting on LinkedIn just a few months ago, I’m pleased to see my following grow to just under 24,000.

Similar to X, I plan to continue to grow my following through content, engaging with other creators, and outreach.

Content creation is crucial for building authority and credibility and I plan to put just as much effort into LinkedIn as I do X.

The Plan for My Newsletter

My newsletter (where you are reading this) has been put on the back burner in the past.

I focused heavily on growing my X and LinkedIn followers but didn’t put as much effort into my email list.

That’s changing this year.

My newsletter is a big focus of mine for 2024. I’m committed to making the best resource out there for creators, writers, and anyone looking to build an online presence.

Each week I’ll do a deep dive on a different topic related to helping you build a powerful personal brand.

Building Out a Team

After just a few months into launching my business and ghostwriting offer, I reached a plateau.

I had 4-5 clients but realized I didn’t have enough time to continue bringing on new clients AND maintain the same quality for existing clients.

So… I decided to start building out a team.

Today, our team sits at 5 full-time employees and we hover around 7 to 10 writers at all times.

Over the course of this year, we will be adding another 2-3 people to our team and adding 3-5 writers to help with fulfillment.

Building Business Systems

As a team, we’ve been working with Thomas Morales for over a year now. He’s been an incredible resource and has built out our entire CRM in Notion and Airtable.

Our business wouldn’t even be close to where it is today without his help.

Systems are what’s going to allow our business to scale seamlessly as our workload and client load continue to grow.

Coaching and Mentorship

Even the best CEOs and professional athletes have a coach. If you’re not consistently learning and improving you’re going in the wrong direction.
