Welcome back to another edition of Branding Daily where I go deep into the depths of brand building, creating content to grow your business, and online entrepreneurship.
I had coffee with one of my friends yesterday…
He was super motivated and wanted to pick my brain on business.
About 15 minutes into the convo he asked me:
“How did you do all this?”
I kinda just stared for 60 seconds… thinking back over the past three years of building Legacy Builder.
I thought about everything it took to get to where I am now.
Not having a clue what I was doing at the beginning.
Chasing quick money instead of learning a skill.
Finding my skill and learning how to sell.
The first year of just trying to find people to pay me money.
The second year of learning how to hire, train, and scale.
Working full time, being a husband/father, and feeling like an imposter most of the way through it.
All to end up across the table from myself 3 years ago with the opportunity to help.
After that pause, I explained all the decisions and all the failures.
Everything I wish I had known when I was starting out but didn’t have the access to get.
It was a full-circle moment and one that I will remember forever.
We all start somewhere, the question is are you willing to show up every day and do what it takes to get ahead?
