7 Reasons You Should Build a Personal Brand

Starting Yesterday...

7 reasons you should have started building your personal brand yesterday:

1. Time

There is a lag measure to everything.

When you start building your personal brand it takes time to start seeing the benefits.

You have to prove yourself as an authority plus connect to an audience.

The longer you wait, the longer it takes to get the reward.

2. Customer acquisition cost

If you are running ads, sending cold emails, or doing any sales outreach.

A personal brand only increases your odds for success.

We just had a client who we have been building for 8 months book 141 qualified sales calls in 30 days.

All because her team was able to use an established personal brand for outreach.

3. Networking

Who you connect with defines your future.

I have met everyone I need to scale my agency to $1M plus online through my personal brand.

This only happens with content and consistency.

4. Confidence

There is nothing more important than confidence when it comes to running a business.

Putting yourself out daily on socials gives you momentum.

Momentum drives overall success.

5. Skill development

Every time I lack a skill.

I go straight to the timeline to find someone who is crushing in that area.

I either:

  • Consume their content

Or

  • Hire them to teach me

This has helped me level up in the areas that I was previously weak in.

6. Community

Identifying communities to join that will actually benefit you is almost impossible.

That’s why I use my personal brand to vet these well before joining.

Perfect example is Sam Parr and Hampton Founders.

They have ultimate social proof because they have strong personal brands attached to their community.

(Side note: Hampton has been a gamechanger and if you meet the criteria you should join)

7. Commitment

I see people everyday that commit to something only to quit when it gets tough.

I was 8 months in before the lightbulb clicked for me on what a personal brand should be.

Then it just came down to strategy and execution…

They get the benefit of the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the last 3 years so they can win faster.

Final note:

Content is an infinite game and you should treat it as such.

Whether you work with an agency, do it yourself, or hire a team…

Remember that it’s a game worth playing for the long run.
